Why This Event Matters
Housing remains one of the most urgent issues facing people with disabilities. Across the region, individuals encounter barriers such as inaccessible housing, unsafe conditions, discrimination, and homelessness.
The SJ Wilkes Group stands firmly in its belief:
“No one with a physical disability — especially those 100% dependent of a wheelchair for mobility — should be homeless in DC, or its surrounding states.”
This Town Hall is designed to drive meaningful conversations and create pathways to real solutions for people with disabilities in Washington, DC and beyond.
