Sharonda Johnson-Wilkes is the visionary force behind the SJ Wilkes Group, an umbrella of purpose-driven organizations dedicated to accessibility, entrepreneurship, and empowerment for people with disabilities.

With more than 30 years of professional experience in disability advocacy, leadership, and community development, Sharonda has transformed her personal challenges into a global mission of inclusion and innovation. A dynamic entrepreneur, she is the founder of the SJ Wilkes Foundation, Inc., SJ Wilkes Accessible Ventures Group, FATA Worldwide, Inc. (From America to Africa), and the National Coalition of 100 Women on Wheels, Inc. (100WOW) — each initiative working to remove barriers, build wealth, and expand opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Sharonda’s journey is one of resilience, reinvention, and relentless purpose. After surviving trauma, navigating systemic ableism, and transitioning from social security to a successful federal career, she turned her lived experiences into a blueprint for empowerment. Her leadership philosophy — “No Pity, Just Purpose” — has become a rallying call for anyone ready to move beyond limitations and create meaningful change.
